It's a new year and a new look for Zakka Life. I had mentioned earlier that I planned on changing things on the site and over the weekend I got a chance to do just that. I hope all of you like it.
The inspiration for the logo came from an old Japanese crest. More my style don't you think?
Last, there's a new button to grab if you want to link to Zakka Life. Just right click on the HTML in the box and copy. Then paste the HTML directly to your site to install. If you have any questions please let me know. I'll try to answer them in the comments to the best of my ability.

I find it too "designer's cold and anonymous". The previous one had character, this one could be in the pages of any serious magazine who sells style that tries not to offend anyone at all costs :(

Good question. It's not the family mon, just a crest I liked that I altered. Apparently our family's mon kind of looks like a Christmas tree, three triangles. Every time I ask about it, no one seems to know exactly what it looks like. Something I need to research for sure.

LOVE the new look--absolutely gorgeous! At the new logo is SO perfect! Love the idea of basing it off of a Japanese crest! Now why didn't I think of that?? :)
I sure like the clean look of your logo and overall new blog look but I miss the colors! I think some bright ones from Japanese kimono fabrics would be nice.
