This will work perfectly with the SF Libraries summer reading program where kids can get prizes based on the amount of reading minutes logged on their website www.SFPL.org.Pattyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13960494012648591586noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2588109276242760886.post-28905288299020561352011-06-10T12:33:43.573-07:002011-06-10T12:33:43.573-07:00cute :)cute :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05011740197884278654noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2588109276242760886.post-75480092609154100732011-06-10T07:26:53.927-07:002011-06-10T07:26:53.927-07:00when they were little, the community had a reading...when they were little, the community had a reading program and you won free personal sized pizza for every 10 books you read. The thing I did was always let them take their time sorting through books to find something they like. Now that they are older, my son reads a book a week and my daughter reads a book every 2 weeks....she is artistic and likes to draw and I don't want to discourage that either!

I wish we had these cuties when they were little...I would have loved to use them!!!!valhttp://www.yarnigras.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2588109276242760886.post-84713646362206608752011-06-09T23:02:02.965-07:002011-06-09T23:02:02.965-07:00Cool, these are cute enough for a grownup lady to ...Cool, these are cute enough for a grownup lady to use, too!Michelle L.https://www.blogger.com/profile/14097093248872091000noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2588109276242760886.post-7986600997454106182011-06-09T20:37:36.306-07:002011-06-09T20:37:36.306-07:00So cute! I'll need to print some for my nephew for when he's old enough.

When I was growing up my library used to have book lists for each grade level & my parents would challenge me to finish them over the summer. For some reason, that was enough to make me do it!

Since I could write through maybe middle school, I kept a list of all the books I read & my goal was always to reach a higher number.

When I was younger, our library had elaborate summer reading programs. For example, if you finished a book and wrote a report, you would get a sticker to make a country & your summer goal was to finish the world. It was a different theme each year.Connie | Daydream In Colorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13511785089522767625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2588109276242760886.post-15333182036245904502011-06-09T19:52:18.676-07:002011-06-09T19:52:18.676-07:00Thanks so much for sharing these!
