Over the weekend my daughter and I made this retro doll. This was the first time my daughter sewed something that didn't have pre-punched holes to guide her stitches. It was a little challenging for her but I think she did a great job. From the project she learned how to sew a whip stitch. She sewed half of the face and the front of the dress. I sewed the rest. <br />
<br />
At first she thought it was too hard but began to get the hang of it. We split the project up into three days so it wasn't too daunting. Towards the end of the project she wanted to sew on the shoes so I let her. Moments later she broke down crying that it was too hard and it was so easy for me. This was one of those moments where I had to choose my words wisely. I explained that I've been sewing most of my life and she's just starting to learn. I also pointed out how nice her stitches looked. I would like to think that she felt encouraged.<br />
<br />
Our projects don't always go as planned but they're time well spent.<br />

Happy Girl's Day! Okay, you caught me. I'm a day late but I still wanted to get a mini post in. This year we went to the Japanese market just before Girl's Day which meant there were a lot of special treats just for the occasion. After drooling over all the food and pretty packaging, I settled on this bag of chocolates. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtxUOHfwzofrMO-_3XYMLtk4Nq8Vc3V0VfyILuAlxFcsjhfOXysP9ZmoRdcEDfjkUb2GUCkdG-FdhsZthYwSlcrojEoz4CirtVySZd4-ZRQk90yFYoltGrMCQFGt8OtGx_l7C4AqcOVEc/s1600/Japanese+cand+for+girl%27s+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtxUOHfwzofrMO-_3XYMLtk4Nq8Vc3V0VfyILuAlxFcsjhfOXysP9ZmoRdcEDfjkUb2GUCkdG-FdhsZthYwSlcrojEoz4CirtVySZd4-ZRQk90yFYoltGrMCQFGt8OtGx_l7C4AqcOVEc/s1600/Japanese+cand+for+girl's+2.jpg" height="265" width="400" /></a></div>
Inside the bag were these cute little Japanese emperors and empresses candies. They're almost too cute to eat. <br />
<br />

<div style="text-align: left;">
I had planned on sharing this book with all of you in the beginning of the new year but time escaped me. And as the book states, <i>it's never too late</i> so here goes...</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
A few months ago I was asked if I would share <i>It's Never Too Late</i> on Zakka Life. Even though this is not a craft book, I said yes because Dallas Clayton books are all about inspiring people. What I enjoy about author Clayton is that his positive, seize the day spirit always shines through in his writing. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

As stated on the cover, It's Never Too Late is a children's book for adults. The book is filled with whimsical illustrations and pros about focusing on what matters. The book touches on themes of following your dreams and making each day count.<br />
<br />
If I were to buy this book, I would give it as a gift for someone going through a new phase in their life that needed a little encouragement. <br />

Do you remember brain teasers? Brain teasers are puzzles that require one to figure out a phrase or idiom from the image/words. I recall having fun trying to decipher these kinds of puzzles when I was in elementary school. Recently, my son reminded me of brain teasers when he showed me one that he learned in school. That inspired me to make these valentine "heart teasers".<br />

I printed the valentines on card stock. I also wrote the answers on the back of the valentines. You could also tape a piece of candy over the answer so the recipient doesn't see the answer right away. </div>

It should be no surprise by now that I like all things washi tape. So when I stumbled upon this stop motion video by <a href="http://www.masking-tape.jp/en/">MT Tape</a>, I had to share. The MT Youtube channel has other videos as well. I haven't viewed all of them but it looks like most of the videos showcase their events. Enjoy.</div>

With every new year brings the overabundance of printable calendars. One that stood out for me this year was a modular origami calendar designed by Ilona Taschner (model originally designed by Michael Naughton). The calendar is comprised of six squares and is surprisingly easy to put together. I also liked that little ink was needed to print out the templates. There are two sizes for the calendar and I made the "big" size (about the size of a baseball). You can find the template plus directions to make the calendar at <a href="http://www.make-origami.com/origami-calendars.php#multi">make-origami.com</a><a href="http://www.blogger.com/null"><span id="goog_1751254998"></span><span id="goog_1751254999"></span></a>. <br />
With the holidays over, I'm left with a plethora of paper, ribbon, and packaging. So, I thought this would be the opportune time to review Uncommon Cards since it's all about making cards with recycled objects. The book features 52 projects to make stationary using found materials combined with sewn designs.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjF7YELOZ9X9piXCe7EHFPU_dpx-sRDzfk2rjuyJybbejjwPE5slge3wjA3DS6HUEsXLHCCgUoGr3CSTRyFfoKdyfrN9-i_O7fCI7oO9JmwGCx3YC2sy0P2vmgCH_jnFP_VRuYRN-P0Jc4/s1600/Upcycled+card+craft+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjF7YELOZ9X9piXCe7EHFPU_dpx-sRDzfk2rjuyJybbejjwPE5slge3wjA3DS6HUEsXLHCCgUoGr3CSTRyFfoKdyfrN9-i_O7fCI7oO9JmwGCx3YC2sy0P2vmgCH_jnFP_VRuYRN-P0Jc4/s1600/Upcycled+card+craft+2.jpg" height="400" width="280" /></a></div>
I decided to test out one of the projects with a leftover nutcracker promotion brochure. For the green paper, I used a piece of cardstock that comes with the book. The directions were straight forward and the card was easy to make. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjtupyoYlL4J8dWkgouIAXNStiUdj4ZcWKI06JTiYcU7rz2nhbXuhwVCOLexxZv5aRCwXJV6cqlM-kYjeIPnJaxCM-l280ZSz2JXwiJy35cBKQhRyurtiMgniNCxsfvccAlNNqtuA5ajcg/s1600/Upcycled+card+craft+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjtupyoYlL4J8dWkgouIAXNStiUdj4ZcWKI06JTiYcU7rz2nhbXuhwVCOLexxZv5aRCwXJV6cqlM-kYjeIPnJaxCM-l280ZSz2JXwiJy35cBKQhRyurtiMgniNCxsfvccAlNNqtuA5ajcg/s1600/Upcycled+card+craft+3.jpg" height="400" width="400" /></a></div>
This was the project I modeled my card after. The projects in the book are versatile allowing one to add their own style to the cards.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhe5pj9aSkjUh4m3RtXsy_XFGRhtQYSIOuoM4Y4DpGShDY4ilbB_lAlMBg1zW_IK0l9Gd6CT2sVaoX44DkV6L1PKRFToK9AZJR7MdJC9FIfqtlf1YZv2Dx-dzXLHcSgpbc0fbdk3kA0m3E/s1600/Upcycled+card+craft+5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhe5pj9aSkjUh4m3RtXsy_XFGRhtQYSIOuoM4Y4DpGShDY4ilbB_lAlMBg1zW_IK0l9Gd6CT2sVaoX44DkV6L1PKRFToK9AZJR7MdJC9FIfqtlf1YZv2Dx-dzXLHcSgpbc0fbdk3kA0m3E/s1600/Upcycled+card+craft+5.jpg" height="323" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
One important thing I should point out is that all the cards require machine sewing. The photo above is a good example. Even though it is possible to hand stitch the cards, I wouldn't recommend it. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiiZwGRtQL_30HY24g5fL1Vu-aKJ3YfdKQnuDBCAIA-mzgKE-KBN-WMpleCamCisJuo_C73h4eB1Jfmbeq46MjBa75IIvIWjCFPasAuUs0p6WH-iRy8QCQ0H1vSR59aihyphenhyphen2FaeNsm5AHzg/s1600/Upcylced+card+craft+4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiiZwGRtQL_30HY24g5fL1Vu-aKJ3YfdKQnuDBCAIA-mzgKE-KBN-WMpleCamCisJuo_C73h4eB1Jfmbeq46MjBa75IIvIWjCFPasAuUs0p6WH-iRy8QCQ0H1vSR59aihyphenhyphen2FaeNsm5AHzg/s1600/Upcylced+card+craft+4.jpg" height="337" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
One of my favorite parts about the book is all the rich textures created from combining different materials and sewing stitches. Honestly, has a garlic bag ever looked so sophisticated?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

I hope all of you were able to enjoy the holidays. My family and I enjoyed a restful staycation with lots of eating (perhaps a little too much). In the new year we decided to visit somewhere <i>new </i>and went to Lands End in San Francisco. It's a lovely park for scenic hikes with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge. <br />

Wishing everyone new adventures in the New Year!</div>

For the past six years on Christmas day, I've posted a video of a yule log. This year I'm breaking from tradition and sharing this <a href="http://www.watchyulelog.com/#" target="_blank">Yule Log 2.0 site</a>. Just click on the image to visit the Yule Log 2.0 site. Once there, you can pick out a yule log to watch that suits your taste. <br />

I know this is a silly time waster but I like it none-the-less. Cute design gets me every time. The Moo site has created this interactive music generator called the Festive Funk Machine. All you do is click on a robot and it starts singing or playing an instrument. My kids and I had fun making different combinations of tunes. You might enjoy it too. <a href="http://uk.moo.com/merrymusic/" target="_blank">Click here</a>, for some funky holiday music.zakkalifehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05430525020577576086noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2588109276242760886.post-56778599852617114972013-12-19T13:18:00.000-08:002013-12-19T13:18:54.401-08:00Part II: Christmas Gift Wrap with Origami Details<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

A few weeks ago my husband came home raving about a dessert (Palha Italiana) he tried at his company potluck. What piqued my interest was he claimed it was better than his maple flan recipe. Now maybe flan doesn't sound that exciting to you but the flan recipe he has is amazing. To me it's a cross between creme brulee and flan. People who don't even like flan love that recipe so naturally I wanted to know more about this "Palha Italiana".<br />
<br />
Fast forward to today, I got the recipe and tested it out. The verdict: I still think the flan is better. However, this recipe won the dessert potluck contest over all the other fresh baked goods. Since it's so easy to make, I thought some of you might enjoy it for the holiday season. <br />
<br />
This recipe was given to me by the Lyon family. They also gave me permission to share it with all of you on my blog. Enjoy!<br />

<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
1. Break up both packages of cookies into fourths/fifths. Place in a large bowl and set aside.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
2. Whisk egg and set aside.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
3. In a medium size saucepan, melt butter. In order, add both cans of sweetened condensed milk, egg and cocoa powder. Whisk until smooth.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
4. On medium to high heat, cook until mixture thickens (about 10 minutes) stirring continuously. I found the mixture starts off thick, gets thin from the heat and thickens up again. The texture of the sauce will be like pudding when it's ready.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
5. Add sauce to bowl of broken cookies and fold in mixture so all the cookies are coated.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
6. Spray a 9 x 13in glass pan with cooking spray. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
7. Add mixture to pan and spread out to make flat. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours or more. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
8. Once set, take out of fridge and cut the dessert into 1in squares while it's still in the pan.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
9. Roll each square in sugar. Enjoy</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
It can be enjoyed chilled or at room temperature. Our family prefers it at room temperature because of the soft texture.</div>

Have you ever visited the Mood Kids site before? I discovered the site a while back and found their projects quite charming. They have a good amount of fun printables. One specifically that caught my eye was this snowman drink decoration. I especially liked the creative use of the orange straw as a nose. These would be fun to use as a surprise at dinner. Or you could print out a set for a classroom party. <a href="http://www.moodkids.nl/diy/2013/12/04/party-printable-sneeuwman-rietjes" target="_blank">Click here for the free printable.</a>zakkalifehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05430525020577576086noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2588109276242760886.post-11596455928432119542013-12-10T21:41:00.000-08:002013-12-10T21:41:39.963-08:00Chrismas Gift Wrap with Origami Details<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Origami Dove</div>
<br />
Each year I like to choose a theme for my Christmas gift wrap. This year I decided to incorporate origami pieces into the wrapping as a picture. The gifts were wrapped with basic brown craft paper. Once the gift was wrapped, I drew directly onto the package with a white paint pen. And for the final touch, I added an origami piece made from metallic paper. The gifts came out fairly close to my vision. If I had more time, I would have changed a few things but it is just wrapping after all. I know this will all be ripped away in a matter of weeks so I can't be too picky. Plus, I still have more gifts to wrap. <br />

My family and I our in the full swing of the holiday season. The Christmas tree and other decorations are up. The kid's have been feasting on their chocolate advent calendars. Dates for holiday gatherings have been set. And last but definitely not least, we've been crafting. My daughter and I have been making these tiny holiday cards for her American Girl doll. They're such an easy craft, I thought some of you or your children might enjoy making them too. <br />

3. Hold the card shut flat and trim off excess paper. Making the cards this way opposed to measuring out the card stock first is easier for children.<br />

<div style="text-align: left;">
For me, what elevates a nice gift to fabulous are the details. That could mean the way it's wrapped, how it's presented or a special detail to the gift itself. Which is why I'm absolutely smitten about these <a href="http://sublimestitching.com/collections/woven-labels" target="_blank">labels from Sublime Stitching</a>. They're just the right touch of whimsy for that special handmade gift. I personally like the Japanese labels that read "made with love". However, the "this took forever" labels come in a close second because haven't we all wanted to say that at some time. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
What's your favorite? Would you use these labels in your handmade gifts? </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
As I mentioned <a href="http://www.zakkalife.blogspot.com/2013/11/knitting-christmas-gifts.html" target="_blank">earlier</a>, I've been trying to make a few gifts for Christmas. I knit this hat last week. It only took me two days to complete but one could easily make it in a day. And don't let the leaf pattern intimidate you, it's actually pretty easy to knit. I was even able to watch T.V. while knitting this. That's the true test of a simple pattern.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This hat is knit on size 10 needles with bulky yarn. If you look at the original pattern, you'll notice that there's a larger ribbed band at the bottom. I had to adjust this since I used size 10 1/2 needles. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>

Did you have a charm bracelet when you were a child? I had one, it was a purple plastic chain and it had giant plastic charms to go with it. Anytime my mom took me shopping, there was a chance I might get a charm. I still have some of the charms today and even briefly wrote about it <a href="http://zakkalife.blogspot.com/2010/01/charming-zippers.html" target="_blank">here</a>. So when <span style="color: blue;"><a href="http://www.shopcharm-it.com/" target="_blank">CHARM IT!</a></span> contacted me about doing a giveaway, I was happy to hop on board. I completely get the charm thing. Picking out charms that match your personality. Seeing how many you can collect. It's just fun.<br />

CHARM IT! let my daughter choose three charms from their site <a href="http://www.shopcharm-it.com/">www.shopcharm-it.com</a> and she picked out the jellyfish, mushroom, and pup in a cup (top photo). I've got to say, she chose well. The jelly fish is adorable. I like how it has tiny swinging chain tentacles. Ever since my daughter got the bracelet, she's been wearing it. She really likes it and as you can imagine, has added some charms to her Christmas wish list.<br />

For the giveaway, CHARM IT! sent me this box of three charms with a bracelet to giveaway. What makes these charms special is that they were all designed by girls. Every so often CHARM IT! hosts contests for kids to design charms (by the way, there's a contest coming up in the spring so look for it). How I would have loved to design my own charm as a child. Heck, I'd like to design my own charm now. Which brings me to the giveaway.<br />
<br />
To enter, please
share what charm you would design if you could in the comments. One entry per household. Please
<span style="font-weight: bold;">leave an email address</span> so I
can contact you if you win. The last day to enter the giveaway is <b>Friday, November 29, 2013</b>. I'll announce the winner Saturday, November 30,
2013 on this post. If I do not hear back from the
winner after two weeks, I will choose a new winner. <span style="font-weight: bold;">Open to US Residents only.</span><br />

To say I'm late to the "making gifts for Christmas" party is an understatement. I'm really attending the after party at this point. Over the weekend I sat down with by knitting needles and began to get to work. I started with a pair of mittens for my daughter's American Girl doll. And yes, I've shared about these mittens two other times (<a href="http://zakkalife.blogspot.com/2008/12/knitting-for-american-girl-doll.html" target="_blank">here</a> and <a href="http://zakkalife.blogspot.com/2012/12/part-2-knit-wrapping.html" target="_blank">here</a>) but it's such a great <a href="http://www.mymomknits.com/freemits.htm" target="_blank">pattern</a>. They're quick to make and use barely any yarn. What's not to love? <br />
<br />
Anyone else making Christmas gifts this year? Please share. Feel free to add a link to your projects in the comments if you want.<br />
<br />
Last, check back tomorrow for a fun giveaway I have planned.zakkalifehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05430525020577576086noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2588109276242760886.post-9795098448908683272013-11-15T06:35:00.000-08:002013-11-15T06:35:33.303-08:00Candy Wrapper Origami<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Do you still have candy leftover from Halloween? If so, you might want to save a few of those wrappers to make some fun origami pieces. Over at Origami Resource Center they've created a round up of different things to fold with various candy wrappers. My personal favorite is the heart ring folded from a Starburst wrapper. <a href="http://www.origami-resource-center.com/candy-wrapper-origami.html" target="_blank">Click here to see more ideas from Origami Resource Center</a>.<br />

Have you ever heard of paper eyelashes before? I just recently discovered them and was intrigued by the accessory. They come in all kinds of shapes: flowers, butterflies, and even streetscapes. Of course when I saw the paper lashes, my first thought was, "how to make them?". So I did a little online research and low and behold, I found a craft tutorial for<a href="http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/paper-cut-eyelashes" target="_blank"> paper eyelashes</a><a href="http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/paper-cut-eyelashes" target="_blank"> on Cut Out + Keep</a>. Now the question is where to wear them?</div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMRbOkab0cPEAe6Dm42hPWOmPJjCWSTR0zsiESqwSrGyTHI2tzW8pl_1j2KfoWyn1t8CxVXpcB9rll-wWL6OyZ4ZtSBo_TQDotO1iLCnuHrceAIh0xjZOtQ30EqUBXCLajswrS1xWPbGk/s1600/Craft+project+with+acrylic+6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMRbOkab0cPEAe6Dm42hPWOmPJjCWSTR0zsiESqwSrGyTHI2tzW8pl_1j2KfoWyn1t8CxVXpcB9rll-wWL6OyZ4ZtSBo_TQDotO1iLCnuHrceAIh0xjZOtQ30EqUBXCLajswrS1xWPbGk/s640/Craft+project+with+acrylic+6.jpg" width="476" /></a></div>
Do friends and family ever give you random things to make stuff with? Every so often someone will offer me something they found in their attic or that they plan on recycling. I've been offered everything from incense holders to lab supplies. Recently my brother gave me a box of acrylic scraps from the sign shop he works at. It was a bunch of random shapes that were mainly the pieces cut out from the inside of letters such as "O" and "D". I decided to use the scraps to make some decorative art (pictured above). They're just the right size to display on a shelf or use as a paperweight. <br />
<br />
Here's how I made them:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSQtzEJGZP82UEuHcSHLtAfIerkXKWpgZqhxcuSaVxs0p-ekD_M5oScgocDRu_t4RIjncEVAhnCUDS2EB57LuBwYXAmD4c2VQ-rl7hA0YzqRlW-igkSREzsaoXySBAMboHyLsnJGYS_GQ/s1600/craft+project+with+acrylic+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="270" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSQtzEJGZP82UEuHcSHLtAfIerkXKWpgZqhxcuSaVxs0p-ekD_M5oScgocDRu_t4RIjncEVAhnCUDS2EB57LuBwYXAmD4c2VQ-rl7hA0YzqRlW-igkSREzsaoXySBAMboHyLsnJGYS_GQ/s400/craft+project+with+acrylic+3.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
Above are few acrylic pieces that my brother gave me. Most of the acrylic is clear but it also comes in other colors. If you happen to have a local sign shop, see if they have any acrylic
scraps they can give you. Otherwise, you can buy acrylic sheets for
crafting. You will probably have to cut it yourself.<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
All the paint is applied to the back of the plastic. Because of this, all words have to be written backwards. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
With a painter's pen, draw out your choice of word or image backwards on the acrylic. </div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
Once the black paint is completely dry, paint three layers of gold paint over it. Let the paint dry between each layer.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Cut out a piece of felt and glue it to the back of the gold. Let dry.</div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
When you flip over your piece, it should look like the picture above. I also experimented with rubber stamps for this project. For the bottom piece, I stamped it instead of using the painter's pen. The rest of the steps were all the same.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
If you're curious like me, than you probably have a few questions about <a href="http://ninelivesproducts.com/" target="_blank">Glu6</a>. For example, how did someone come up with the idea to transform Styrofoam into glue? How is it made? And, does it work? To answer the first question, the company Nine Lives Products came up with the idea by trying to solve a very important problem, "recycling Styrofoam waste". As to how it's made, I don't really know. There is a little blurb on the Nine Lives site that says the Styrofoam is dissolved with natural ingredients. When it dissolves, it turns into a goop. From that point, I couldn't tell you what they do with it. But what I can answer is, "does it work?".</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Nine Lives sent me two of their products, the non toxic craft paste and Glu6 original. I tested out both products to see how they held up. Here's what I discovered:</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The first product I tested out was the non-toxic craft paste. The craft paste is designed for porous and semi-porous products. I used it to glue everything on the card above except the pom pom. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<b>Pluses:</b><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The texture of the glue</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Did not saturate the paper like some liquid glues do</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Paper stayed in place when drying, did not slide around </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Paper dried flat - some times you get puckering with liquid glues</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Good for the environment</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b>Minuses:</b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Strong orange scent - I'm very sensitive to smells</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Even though it's recommended for children I think it would be too messy for younger kids in the classroom. It's not water soluble so it's harder to clean off than other glues. If there was a glue stick version of this, I would recommend the product for younger children.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWhW0-c4Y0vxzZp5oOS9fEPGcUjwOd9A1UrMvOMuJUdrl48TA33VyOP3doQS7ZF967NPFiM8Jql46_UOdbQ7ZpRKjcxd4dflJu93s2iA6gZst8jRwXw2vWdteyKjeHuABHNfEAlgKUtpE/s1600/glue+test.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="323" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWhW0-c4Y0vxzZp5oOS9fEPGcUjwOd9A1UrMvOMuJUdrl48TA33VyOP3doQS7ZF967NPFiM8Jql46_UOdbQ7ZpRKjcxd4dflJu93s2iA6gZst8jRwXw2vWdteyKjeHuABHNfEAlgKUtpE/s400/glue+test.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The second glue I tested out was the Glu6 original. This glue is designed for non porous products. I decided to test out gluing various items to a plastic cup. The objects used for the glue test were: a metal letter, a button with a rough surface, and a plastic clothespin with a flat surface. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b>Pluses:</b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
All products bonded to the plastic cup after ten minutes. It is recommend that the glue sets up for 24-48 hours. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Dries clear</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Good alternative to using an extra-strength glue. The Glu6 is a medium bonding glue.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Good for the environment</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b>Minuses:</b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Strong orange scent</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For the first couple minutes the objects need to dry flat or they move around.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Overall, I had a good experience working with the Glu6 products. I'm sure I'll be using and experimenting with them in future craft projects. Plus, I like that the company is local (located in the Bay Area, CA). </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
If you would like to learn more about Glu6, visit their <a href="http://ninelivesproducts.com/" target="_blank">official site here</a>. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Last but not least, I have a sale code for you. You can get <b>25% off</b> your Glu6 purchase by using the code:<b> Fall2013 </b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Today I'm letting out a giant sigh of relief (or maybe exhaustion) because all the Halloween costumes are made and all my "big" projects are finished. Woo-hoo!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Last week was the end stretch of the craziness and one of my last projects was putting together this Frodo costume. Here's a little break down of how I made/assembled this costume.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br />Pants - $3 at the thrift store - hemmed them to make them hobbit length</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Vest - $2 thrift store find</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Cloak - $10 of fabric to sew the cloak. This could have been cheaper if I used felt but instead I went with a faux suede fabric. I used this tutorial to sew the cloak, <a href="http://www.alleycatscratch.com/lotr/Things/FCloak/FCloak_pattern.htm" target="_blank">click here</a>.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
White shirt - free via our closet</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Ring - free - part of the the LOTR Risk Game</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Pin for Cloak - free - I used a lizard pin I had. I know it's not the elvish leaf pin but it looked like something you would find in Middle-earth. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYvdSOxDM86qb-ozJMvGtMlQ_a_EKRSEFErOzlvSFE1OpiwHw4n4Rt2k68Xm2hJ5vEA7IW8ktsC_ThDOGBY8wglvZU1a6elJ0ZtnBYXioobazfVRMqxWDji18gXe6VZGK3Uo3NnyMw1sY/s1600/Gingerbread+costume.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYvdSOxDM86qb-ozJMvGtMlQ_a_EKRSEFErOzlvSFE1OpiwHw4n4Rt2k68Xm2hJ5vEA7IW8ktsC_ThDOGBY8wglvZU1a6elJ0ZtnBYXioobazfVRMqxWDji18gXe6VZGK3Uo3NnyMw1sY/s640/Gingerbread+costume.jpg" width="456" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Last week I mentioned that I was prepping a giant Candy Land game for our school carnival. I decided to dress up as gingerbread woman to go with the Candy Land theme. I found the idea for this costume via <a href="http://www.livinglocurto.com/2013/10/diy-halloween-costume-ideas/" target="_blank">Living Lucurto</a>. Details for making the costume can be found on the <a href="http://www.chocolatecakemoments.com/cute-homemade-kids-halloween-costume-gingerbread-cookie/" target="_blank">Chocolate Cake Moments blog</a>.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Sadly, this is the only picture I have of the Candy Land game. I was so busy getting everything ready that I neglected to take a picture. You can see a little bit of the chalk game board in the background along with the giant lollipops. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Okay, that's all I've got. How about you? What are you doing for Halloween? Did you make your costume? Please share.</div>

Last week I mentioned I was planning an American Girl Doll birthday
party so I thought I would share a few pictures with all of you.<br />
<br />
If you keep up with this blog, you know I have a very talented Aunt Susan who makes all the cakes for my children's birthdays. I had her make a mini cake for the dolls as well. All the girls loved this and were excited about having a piece of cake for their dolls. I found some mini plastic forks at Daiso for the dolls to eat with.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYdfQmtt7vVxs-r4cWFEERZqmTyj1iFehytSLEkDG7yYvmKhcJfp74ZM4DH-vxEdnaPEUxEsIlN6Z0PcKggqMB2EcKmmMRWbBKO_sx6M-3wFtrXURVI5mjosYN_o8RdQQbMJNj5pPE6k4/s1600/American+Girl+Birthday+Party.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYdfQmtt7vVxs-r4cWFEERZqmTyj1iFehytSLEkDG7yYvmKhcJfp74ZM4DH-vxEdnaPEUxEsIlN6Z0PcKggqMB2EcKmmMRWbBKO_sx6M-3wFtrXURVI5mjosYN_o8RdQQbMJNj5pPE6k4/s400/American+Girl+Birthday+Party.jpg" width="267" /></a></div>
If you're familiar with American Girl dolls, you know you can get matching outfits for them. It was by chance that I discovered Kohl's also sells matching outfits for a more reasonable price. I purchased this set for $31. The jacket in the picture is the American Girl doll brand.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgPv-1Cr7qma-GOyb9BGQYY8jtK-84X26uzAMXBCQ4Q7dkXy2FXzmhCZ4UAVBwspqBn41DwyS_NYj-J1BYcgV3mjGokIjyhT4QfQfQ7TJkTsF8uk5GAzgQSkQNtgtPzIGoNGfe12qEmOtw/s1600/American+Girl+Birthday+Party+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgPv-1Cr7qma-GOyb9BGQYY8jtK-84X26uzAMXBCQ4Q7dkXy2FXzmhCZ4UAVBwspqBn41DwyS_NYj-J1BYcgV3mjGokIjyhT4QfQfQ7TJkTsF8uk5GAzgQSkQNtgtPzIGoNGfe12qEmOtw/s640/American+Girl+Birthday+Party+3.jpg" width="324" /></a></div>
For the party I made a life size doll box that the girls could get into it and have their picture taken. I found the idea at <a href="http://ideas.coolest-homemade-costumes.com/2012/11/06/original-american-girl-doll-julie-costume-girl/" target="_blank">Coolest Homemade Costumes</a>. The doll box was actually pretty simple to make. There was no paint involved, the secret is wrapping paper and duct tape.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_n2hCtEaWv_t3tSoqaWC0Q_g2laojdUMMe9NbzohGQXwh8hw-9cKRWxExNYGXAsNWa4dJosMSrH90b5hc96rh08kDfwW8oAEz6IZrBRFKgvyakk2m_K3aUlRB4QDouqH9MRjMKKCkAP4/s1600/heart+sushi.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="311" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_n2hCtEaWv_t3tSoqaWC0Q_g2laojdUMMe9NbzohGQXwh8hw-9cKRWxExNYGXAsNWa4dJosMSrH90b5hc96rh08kDfwW8oAEz6IZrBRFKgvyakk2m_K3aUlRB4QDouqH9MRjMKKCkAP4/s400/heart+sushi.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhk40THkXOvypyeeaJmdo6FGdz7Dt5jLAw6CT0w2-lc6q1Cq7Ia_FYWZsydotGnTbmsgC5pufVpvghjD0l7Q-sCOgIjIXXXT_YlGrTAXHW6qhJkKpg9oM8pjtVSWdm5NW7gn0Mlh6rwXcE/s1600/American+girl+doll+birthday+game.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><br /></a></div>
Yes, that's heart shaped California Rolls! My mother-in-law made them for the party. I decided to serve finger food for lunch. I thought it went well with the theme, tiny food for tiny dolls.<br /><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhk40THkXOvypyeeaJmdo6FGdz7Dt5jLAw6CT0w2-lc6q1Cq7Ia_FYWZsydotGnTbmsgC5pufVpvghjD0l7Q-sCOgIjIXXXT_YlGrTAXHW6qhJkKpg9oM8pjtVSWdm5NW7gn0Mlh6rwXcE/s1600/American+girl+doll+birthday+game.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhk40THkXOvypyeeaJmdo6FGdz7Dt5jLAw6CT0w2-lc6q1Cq7Ia_FYWZsydotGnTbmsgC5pufVpvghjD0l7Q-sCOgIjIXXXT_YlGrTAXHW6qhJkKpg9oM8pjtVSWdm5NW7gn0Mlh6rwXcE/s400/American+girl+doll+birthday+game.jpg" width="308" /></a></div>
<br />
I wasn't too impressed with the games I was finding so I came up with this version of the memory game. Here's the how to:<br />
<br />
<b>American Girl Doll Memory Game:</b><br /><br /> 1. Copy and print image above so it fits on a 8 1/2 x 11 in paper. Print and cut out circles. <br />
<br />2. Adhere circles to bottom of chocolate kisses. You will need one standard size bag.<br />
<br />
3. Place all kisses in a grid shape. <br />
<br />
4. Taking turns, have one child look at the bottom of the two kisses to find a match. If they get a match, they get to keep the kisses and try a second time.<br />
<br />
5. Continue to take turns trying to find matches until all the kisses are gone.<br />
<br />
* I recommend announcing in the beginning of the game that they can not eat the candy until later. <br />
<br />
So that's what I was up to last week. If all goes well, next week I'll be sharing some pictures of the oversized Candy Land game I'm making.zakkalifehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05430525020577576086noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2588109276242760886.post-51976812082392716242013-10-14T15:14:00.000-07:002013-10-14T15:14:09.640-07:00Crafting Outside the Blog<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/superstars/zakka-life" target="_blank"><img border="0" height="286" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQowR8HdTS_aPD6SoWpWOygBpMwiGUUZIkiwAjwt03uudTAtz3e11AROONXImOsviqHMROIOce02uh_DYaICwpJdLlg9QjfzF3wFj6AN-jrm6TKRzdfrqCLGrs1tE6UJsiDGN-fD5bXiQ/s400/Cut+Out+and+Keep.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
Even though I went missing on the blog last week, I was doing a ton of crafting. But before I get into that, let me tell you what I'm doing this week. You can find me over at <a href="http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/superstars/zakka-life" target="_blank">Cut Out + Keep</a> sharing craft tutorials each day. There's also a small interview on the site if you want to learn more about me. <br />
<br />Now about last week....<br />
<br />
Last week I made over 500 Shrinky Dink beads for a women's retreat I attended last weekend. The bracelets we made were inspired by <a href="http://www.countryliving.com/crafts/projects/how-to-make-a-shriky-dink-bracelet?expireCache=1&ignoreCache=1" target="_blank">this tutorial by Cathe Holden</a>.<br />
<br />
I was also prepping for a photo shoot for my next book with Chronicle Books. Since I can't tell you about the book yet, let me share a link to <a href="http://www.chroniclebooks.com/" target="_blank">Chronicle Books</a> where you can find all kinds of awesome crafty books. Or, take advantage of the Chronicle Books app to make your own <a href="https://www.facebook.com/ChronicleBooks/app_655911394428128" target="_blank">Grumpy Cat Photobomb</a>.<br />
<br />
Since I still had to cook dinner through all this madness, I turned to my trusty slow cooker and made this recipe from <a href="http://www.budgetbytes.com/2013/09/slow-cooker-white-bean-soup/" target="_blank">Budget Bytes</a>. This also happens to be my new favorite food blog. I can't wait to try out the <a href="http://www.budgetbytes.com/2010/09/naan/" target="_blank">naan recipe</a>!<br />
<br />
Now if you would excuse me, I have an American Girl Doll birthday party to plan along with an oversized Candy Land game to make for this year's Halloween carnival. For real.<br />

Reading one of Haruki Murakami's books has been on my to-do list for a while now. Haruki is a famous Japanese author who has won numerous awards. In fact, there has been <a href="http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/books/booknews/10322801/Haruki-Murakami-is-bookmakers-favourite-for-Nobel-Prize.html" target="_blank">talk</a> that he's the favorite for this years Nobel Prize in Literature. I wanted to read a book that reflected what he is best known for, surrealism. So after a little research, I chose <i>Hard-Boiled Wonderland and The End of The World</i>.<br />
<br />
<i>Hard-Boiled Wonderland and The End of The World</i> is written as two parallel narratives (Hard-Boiled Wonderland) and (The End of the World). Hard-Boiled Wonderland is narrated by a split brained data processor who faces the end of the world. The End of The World is narrated by an outsider who is adapting to a new town that is surrounded by a large wall. In this new town he's given the job of "dream reader". <br />
<br />
I'm about two-thirds through this book and have been really enjoying it.<br />
<br />
Have any of you read this book? Did you like it? <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirGEsUVED80669UMOKuIEIbKsBg1-TQPTRWsqDM5xXgMLxtykyzYLsoy9LRBFRJ82GvjcsD7-5uz3nZQBNV_1t7zPsbr8scQcQ7rahVeLdVE7RM6-V67vPkbtvsqoF3EDgwWl6qoGIAtY/s1600/Comet+in+Moominland.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirGEsUVED80669UMOKuIEIbKsBg1-TQPTRWsqDM5xXgMLxtykyzYLsoy9LRBFRJ82GvjcsD7-5uz3nZQBNV_1t7zPsbr8scQcQ7rahVeLdVE7RM6-V67vPkbtvsqoF3EDgwWl6qoGIAtY/s640/Comet+in+Moominland.jpg" width="428" /></a></div>
I'm always on the lookout for unique reads for my children (you know, something other than <i>Diary of a Wimpy Kid</i>). I was familiar with the Moomin comics but I didn't realize there was also a novel series. So when I stumbled upon the Moomin series by Tove Jansson at the book store, I decided to give it a try.<br />
<br />
Comet in Moominland introduces you to the Moomin family. In this book you follow the adventures of Moomintroll and his friend Sniff. I just started reading this to my children (ages 7 & 10) and they both seem to like it. <br />
<br />
So that's what I'm reading. How about you? Any recommendations for me or the kids?<br />

This DIY stamp project was inspired by an unusual item, packaging for a chocolate candy mold. On the packaging I spotted a teeny-tiny gemstone which reminded me of a rubber stamp. Since I had all the supplies, I decided to make gemstone stamp (pictured above). This stamp would be good for gift wrap, cards, etc. Tutorial below.<br />

2. Trace printed image with tracing paper and pencil. Place tracing paper on stamp and transfer image to stamp.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkgvlZ-v1IOI-Jkd5zNPIjA53faq-xQvFIMgVhe3uIugPIdB0W8_oc7MCpPNbX5CONPSOdZaHzZ7e4hkupEL9yd0F6vFAxF1Ekv9u0j4dCLkrr79FV-O62dmcR_g0ohI-05_adB0qKfPs/s1600/DIY+Gemstone+Stamp+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="373" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkgvlZ-v1IOI-Jkd5zNPIjA53faq-xQvFIMgVhe3uIugPIdB0W8_oc7MCpPNbX5CONPSOdZaHzZ7e4hkupEL9yd0F6vFAxF1Ekv9u0j4dCLkrr79FV-O62dmcR_g0ohI-05_adB0qKfPs/s400/DIY+Gemstone+Stamp+3.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
3. With lino cutter, carve out where pencil marks on the stamp. Once carved test it out with the stamp pad. If you see some edges that need to be cleaned up, you can shape it more with the lino cutter.<br />
<br />
4. With E6000 glue, adhere the stamp to the back of a wood block.zakkalifehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05430525020577576086noreply@blogger.com4
