Valentine Feature in Family Fun Magazine

If you happen to have the February issue of Family Fun Magazine, my Outer Space Valentine is featured in the publication.  I know most of you have already made or purchased valentines if you needed to.  However, if you're still looking for some last minute ideas, the Parents site is sharing some of the valentines from the Family Fun Magazine.  I wouldn't recommend making thirty of any of them by tomorrow.   But if you want to make a few, there are some great ideas over there.

I actually had planned on making the watch valentine for my son's class but he told me he wants something else.  Now the question is to buy cards from the picked over valentine's rack or make 33 of something by tomorrow. Thankfully I finished all the roller skate valentines so that's one less thing to worry about.

Featured in Family Fun Magazine

A few months ago Family Fun Magazine asked me if they could feature my Christmas pom pom ornament in their December/January 2013 Issue.   Well the issue is finally out for all to see.  If you have a chance, check out the magazine when you're at the store or pick up a copy.  They always have great crafts targeted for kids between ages 3-12.  I know I'm probably biased but I really like the crafts they share in the magazine.  In fact, there's a metal washer necklace craft on page 83 that I can't wait to try out with my kids.

There's the Pom Pom ornament on the left.  I like how they switched it up and used shades of purple for the pom poms.  You may recall, the original ornament was sparkly and multicolored.

Featured in Disney FamilyFun Magazine

A while back FamilyFun Magazine requested to use my Superhero Lollipop Valentine idea. It has been a long wait but the February issue is finally out featuring the project. Also featured in the magazine are some cute ideas from bloggers Design Mom and Dollhouse Bake Shoppe. If you get a chance, check out the magazine. It's filled with lots of cute ideas for Valentine crafts. I particularly have my eye on the chocolate kiss ring project.

Parents 100 Days of Holidays

Looking for some crafty ideas for the holiday season? The Parents 100 Days of Holidays is well underway. It started September 16 and goes until January 1, 2012. Sorry I didn't tell you guys about it earlier, somehow it slipped past me. But fortunately, there's still lots to see. All the crafts have been contributed by other bloggers so not only will you discover a new craft but you also might find a new favorite crafty blog. One of my Christmas ornaments will be featured in the slides which will view December 5th, if anyone is interested.

You can visit the site everyday or subscribe to 100 Days of Holidays. If you decide to subscribe make sure you click the "100 Days of Holidays only option" so you don't get lots of emails.
