sippy-ki-ay!
I've been hording yogurt containers with the idea that I'll make something out them. Then it hit me, sippy-cup containers. I don't know about you, but I'm always losing them or misplacing them. Once at the zoo, my daughter dropped hers into the lion's den. No joke. It's as if I have bad sippy-cup karma, if there were such a thing. So here's my answer, disposable sippy cups made out of plastic yogurt containers. All you need to do is cut a small x on the top of the lid and pop a straw in it. Done. Even if you don't have kids, you might want to keep some on hand for little visitors. Your floors will thank you for it.

A stroke of genius!
At fist glance I thought you were showing cleaner way to feed your kids slurpy yogurt. Either way, clever!
Awesome idea! I have a toddler and this is the best idea yet!
Thanks!
I love the idea, but over here our yoghurt pots come with foil peeling lids, not plastic :(
Fantastic idea. I don't have kids, but several of my friends do and will appreciate this... though I often wonder if sippy cups would keep my cats' paws out of my water, too. :p
Btw, yogurt cups not bound for sippy cup-dom make fantastic containers to start cuttings or seeds, if you garden. Cutting off the bottoms to use a self-watering mat is optional.
Only problem with this idea is that some of the platic containers will leach chemicals if used repeatedly.... Not want you want your child ingesting. See http://trusted.md/blog/vreni_gurd/2007/03/29/plastic_water_bottles
Or just search for "plastic leach" for more information...
Fun idea. I almost always have these types of containers at home. even though I don't have little ones at home any more, I do on occasion get "little" visitors. Now I need to go buy some straws.
