Christmas Bento
Thought I would try making another bento. The snowman's nose is, you guessed it, a carrot. I used black sesame seeds for the eyes. His top hat is a pickled beet. The mini Coca-Cola bottle is the soy sauce. The little girl is a cracker (they come packaged like that).

Ohh what a great way to make little kids eat their veggies!!!
Maybe I should treat myself instead...the tructh is true that I don't eat my veggies too. Then maybe I'll criticize my cousin!
I love the coke/soy bottle.
So cute! I love bento! Your blog is very cute and interesting!
I just came across you blog. So cute! Where on earth did you find those little girl crackers? They look like a kokeshi doll.
Hi Steph,
There's a Japanese Market not to far from here. I think they're mainly for girls day. So far I've only found one market that carries them. It took me about a year to track them down. I first saw them when some friends brought them back from Japan for my son.
What a thrill for anyone to see this on their plates, so cute! Thank you for sharing this and all your other wonderful crafts!
Ingenius! So cute and I love haw you put the SOy Sauce in a mini cola bottle!
