Upcycled Christmas Ornaments

Do these look familiar? They're plastic toy containers that you get out of the gumball machines. The other day I got the idea of making them into Christmas ornaments. I strung ribbon through the holes on top and tied a bell in the inside. Then I just stuffed them with tinsel. Candy could be another alternative to the tinsel.

Oh goodness, this is so clever! We used to have so many of these lying around at home we did not know what to do with it. Thanks Jessica :D

That's a cool decoration this Christmas. A smart & affordable way to a cosy juletide.

Don't forget to drop by at my place for a juletide surprise!

Very cool. Especially becasue it is something really little ones can make.

Nobu,

Yes, it's a Gacha figure capsule. Never realized that's what they are called, thanks. :)

Okay, these need to be featured on The Crafty Crow and One Pretty Thing.

these would make an awesome advent calender if you left the toy inside the capsule and covered in tinsel, then numbered each one.
