I've been experimenting lately with different shapes for gift tags. This was the final design after my craft R & D (research and development). Simple directions plus clip art for the tags if you would like to make one or more.
Right click, copy, save, and print images on heavy card stock. To cut out I used scissors for the outside circle and an exacto knife for the inside circle.
Punch a hole at the top of the tag. Using mizuhiki cord, tie a knot similar to a reef knot on the tag. It ends up looking more fancy than it really is because of the three cords. You could also use ribbon or string.
Glue an embellishment onto the tag. I used a foil butterfly I purchased at Castle in the Air. Done.
so pretty!
