Stickers and kids go hand in hand. So why not have kids design their own stickers, right? My daughter made the one above (it's a smiley face). This is an easy project that's good for all ages. Simple directions below.
Supplies:
White Self Adhesive Liner - normally used to line drawers. I purchased in the closet organizing section of Target for about $5. You might be able to find it a the dollar store as well.
Permanent Markers
Scissors
Cut a piece of the adhesive paper out. Draw on the paper with permanent markers (we found the color shows better with permanent markers).

Great Idea. Your daughter is so cute!
This came at just the right moment. I had purchased a roll of contact paper from a thrift store a while back to cover my son's play table with (great for cleaning off easily). I only used a couple of feet of it...and I was going to take the rest and donate it! I would have totally missed out on him decorating the house with handmade stickers!!! Thanks.
Really great, and we happen to have all the supplies on hand! Thanks. Her sticker is so cute! I love that the sticker can be so big.
Cute idea! How about the washing aspect after wearing the clothes? I'm sure the "artwork" survives, but how about the sticker itself?
The stickers are not meant for permanently sticking on clothing. My daughter, just put that sticker on her stomach and I took a picture of it. Sorry if there was any confusion.
Hi, I have just come across your blog recently and think you have some fantastic ideas. It is school holidays in Melbourne (Aust) and this will be a great activity to do with my kids. Thanks for sharing.
Great idea! My littlest one always decorates her clothing with stickers...mostly Kroger stickers at that. lol And I spent too much on sticker sheets before...now I'll just grab a roll of contact paper instead!
it must be fun for her to do her own little project. i like seeing kids' drawings =)
your daughter was so cute and chubby when she was a toddler.
