Lately my embroidery thread box has been out of control. So to combat the mess, I decided to place the thread in baseball card holders that are stored in a binder. So far it's working great and I like that I can see everything.
What a great idea! I just started cleaning out my craft room this morning and am thrilled to implement this idea pronto! We all have bad days/projects but I hardly blog about them either. It seems to amplify the bad and I'd rather concentrate on the good!
i use slide sheets (same concept) and it works well. i think yours might work better because mine fit so perfectly inside if i tip the binder the wrong way half of them fall out. of course i could just buy a zippered binder... ;) you can also separate weights/brands with binder dividers sheet things if you're super organized (i'm not)
My box is always out of control..he he he
ReplyDeleteIt looks great, then I use it.
