Alma from Rodrigo Blaas on Vimeo.
Normally I don't care for creepy stories but this film captivated me with its visual charm. Warning: it is a little scary but it won't make you jump out of your seat, nothing gory either.

a bit predictable, but still couldn't turn away. Creepy yes. I guess the audience is as captivated by the story as Alma was by her own image. No escape from escapism.
ReplyDeleteI love the expressions on Alma's face, how her eyebrows knitted together in curiosity. I always like this kind of creepy-cute things, although it seems a bit trendy now. But this one is really well-executed.
ReplyDeleteI loved it, thanks for sharing. I love creepy stuff like that, lol ~ Coroline, the new Alice that is coming out.
ReplyDeletenice graphics to day they couldnt use them for something a bit more productive. I am not one who is into weird stuff usually and this was one of those. they leave me thinking dumb not really. i am far to serious for scifi and stuff like that. i'm no fun I guess thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteyes, creepy! I like how they come back to the names at the end and you realize what they are and how the shop window suddenly looks like a big mouth. I don't watch/read creepy stuff, so I wasn't able to predict the ending -- I hoped she would open the door...
ReplyDeleteOh, I just loved that! Of course, I'm totally okay with creepy. The combination of cute and creepy is just perfect!
