Out to Life

(Husband & I water tubing)

Sorry there have been fewer posts lately. Instead of being out to lunch I've been out to life. Here are some pictures from a recent mini vacation.

Instead of blogging we're. . . .

sightseeing

playing games

being silly

eating - I don't like to brag but we're really good at that

fishing

picking berries

trying new things - this is me attempting to kneeboard but as you can guess it didn't happen. Trust me, if it did there would be pictures.

How are all of you spending your summer? I hope you're finding some time to enjoy it.

  1. Living life? Looks like you're all having so much fun. We only have about three weeks left of summer vacation, and I'm going to soak up every minute of it. Trying not to think about the start of school for *both* my girls! *Sob!*

    Enjoy yourselves!

  2. Hey, that's bowling in Columbia! We were there just a few weeks ago and had a fantastic time! Next time, you MUST have lunch at the tea shop. It's very reasonably priced, everything's made from scratch, and it's just generally wonderful!
Glad you're enjoying your summer :)

  6. Oh summers, the best time to enjoy the weather and water. Out here in North Carolina its been very hot (it was 100*F a few days last week). The biggest trip my spouse and I took was a July 4th trip to visit his brothers. There was much eating, tag *turned into tackle* football, grilling and fireworks :) Now I'm into a new sewing project - making a yukata. Anyone else up to new crafty projects?

  8. Is that bowling in Columbia SP??? We got fabulous European seeds at the garden store there--though the kids talk about the ice cream :)

    Yes that's Columbia, good eye.

Good to know about the seeds, I'll have to check that out next time I'm there, hopefully next year.

  13. Looks like such a fantastic summer! Since we are in Tokyo and it's urban and the kids were in school till recently, we haven't had anywhere near that kind of fun yet this summer!

  14. Looks like everyone is having fun! Last weekend we tried out a nice new trail amongst the shade, made lots of salads (too hot to cook), watched lots of movies, tried out some new places to eat... so yes, we're enjoying the summer.
