Saddle Bronco Riding Competition
Linguica Burger
Most of the food at the concession stands consisted of BBQ and beer. We also got a big bag of kettle corn. Man is that stuff addicting.
My daughter checking out the animals.
Lots of cowboy hats.
I'll be honest, I was kind of hoping there would be some homemade booths to check out at the rodeo. You know, maybe find a cute pair of boots or a belt but no luck.
Leather Chaps
Some of the women in the rodeo were wearing real fancy chaps with pink fringe and other decorative embellishments.
My son laughing at the rodeo clowns, probably one of his favorite parts about the rodeo.
So that's what we did over the weekend. How about you?

Rip-roaring fun! Your kids look so grown up! I'm glad you had a good time at your first rodeo (great post title - hee).
Looks like loads of fun!
I have always wanted to go to a Rodeo (it's on our family "bucket list"), looks like you all had a grand time.
Michelle L,
I was looking at the pictures and thinking the same thing, the kids are growing up too quickly.
That sounds like fun! I bet my kids would enjoy a rodeo. We spent our Saturday at 4 baseball games. :)
Deanna,
We lucked out and didn't have any baseball games on Saturday. That's why we were able to go out and do something but usually the games always end up scheduled for Saturday afternoon. I can't imagine attending 4 games in one day.
How many of your children are playing baseball?
