Pumpkin Carving

Thought I would share with all of you how I carve my pumpkins. I like to use my speedball linoleum cutter. There's all different kinds of blades you can buy for it. It's good for small details. A lot of you probably recognize this tool because it's often used to make stamps and linoleum prints.

A pumpkin I carved for a specific party. Looks better in person when it's lit up.

I have this tool! But not the time any more. I cheated last year and carved a foam pumpkin with my heat tools to be a 2 mice and one side a cat on the other side. so when you light it, it cast a shadow of the cat! I did it on foam so I could enjoy it every year.

Your pumpkin looks super cute. I always admired people in the printmaking program for their carving abilities.
