Gift Tag Blues

All the gift tags above were made out of recycled cards. I do this with all the cards I receive. Using a gift tag punch, I punch out the tags from the cards. If you can get in the habit of doing this with all your cards, you'll have a tag that matches just about anything. You can make about 4-7 tags from one card depending on its size.

I LOVE this idea! I always hate throwing away the cards I get. Now I know what to do with them.

This is a really good idea. I was going to a baby shower today and I was scrounging around for a gift label or tag that matched the wrapping paper.

I gotta say I never thought of that (making tags from old cards)... but it's rather nifty. They're really cute. You should check out a site that has all kinds of hand made tags 'n stuff like that; it's called etsy or you can use the link I posted on my blog. Anywho, keep up the good work... I like your blog.

Such a spiffy idea. Will be looking for a tag punch. But I think I'll start with using the scrapbooking punches I have. Thanks for the cool idea!
