Braille Stationary

Here's the craft of the week a little early. I thought it would be fun to make some braille stationary. What I like about this card is it looks very modern and industrial. It's a nice alternative to all the handmade girly cards out there. It would be nice to make a set of 8-10 cards with the recipients name on them. Perhaps a good gift for the person who has everything. Directions below.

Supplies:
White Card stock
Orange card stock
antique copper mini circle brad
pin
pencil
rule
double stick tape

On the back side of your orange card stock, draw the name (backwards) it braille. To insure the name is centered, start with the center letter of the name. Poke holes with a small pin where your dots are.

Insert brads to the front of the card. Double stick tape the orange card stock to the white card. Done!

this is a great idea, even for not blind people... we will realise that we too are blind and don't understand this kind of language!
love it!

I'm going to have to give this one a whirl - my kids would enjoy it, too. :) Thanks for the how to. :)
