Omg!! They are awesome.
So cute! If only I could get my hands on a mould to make them...
I've never seen those before - perhaps becasue I've never been to a Russian Market. :)
You have a Russian Market?! How fun! The cookies are wonderful ;)
I would totally eat those! Cute! :)I found some matryoshka doll stickers that are really cute just yesterday and I saw some dolls in the boss' office. They're everywhere!!!
will you invite me for a tea?;)
Would you mind sending me some specifics about a brand on the package or even the market name. My daughter would love these.
Interesting cookies. Great when taken with a cup of tea. :)Have a well deserved weekend!AlexanderAlex's World! - http://www.kakinan.com/alex
Just the picture is a work of art as is the cookie itself! This weeks contest ends at midnight, do you want to enter?
These are really cute.
Those are adorable! I'd almost hate to eat them. Almost.
those are awesome!!!!
It would be possible to bake shaped shortbread, ice it with royal icing, and then paint a doll design with food colour for Christmas - I've done something similar before. The biscuits freeze, but the icing doesn't.
good idea Julie, thanks for sharing
You can find a mould here http://www.cookiemold.com/ Saddly I'm in the UK so can't get one :(
Cookiemold have sold out so I made my own, not as good as yours but on :) (for a first go)
thanks Mel for the info :)
I have just now discovered the matryoshka doll cookies! They are so adorable. Where can I get some or the cookie press to make them myself? Thanks for any help you can provide.
I actually purchased the cookies at a Russian Market in town. However, someone mentioned in the comments that they saw a mold at www.cookiemold.com Hope this helps :)
