I first discovered the lotus card on folding trees and decided to give it a try. I'm really pleased with the results. The lotus flower seems to come to life when you open the card. There are detailed directions with templates here, on how to make the card. The card takes about an hour to make but it's well worth it.

Oh my goodness, this is GORGEOUS!
So lovely :) I really like the colours you chose.
That card really is stunning! I love 3D cards that "pop" and this one is very, very pretty!
You have much patience, but it is very pretty! :)

What a stunning pink and I like that you've used a green background to depict the leaf.
I was thinking of trying that pattern out, but I'm not "an hour on a card" kinda crafter. You've done an excellent job, and I'll just enjoy your labor!
so pretty!
That's so beautiful Jessica, I love it!
Wow, that turned out fantastic! I love projects like these. In just an hour you brought something beautiful to life!
I LOVE THIS!!! as you would have guessed, lotus is my fav flower!!
loving it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't find the template for this card anywhere. They all link back to one site, and the site's PDF is broken. :(
I wanted to make this card for my grandma... but I'm running out of time and might have to do something else... I'd rather not though.
Hi Fayth39,
I searched to see if I could find the template anywhere else but didn't see anything. Sorry :( Maybe you could try a free printable card. You can find a lot of those online.
